Nicole will graduate in May of 2018 with a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Her studies focused on the Lighting/Electrical option of the major. Upon graduation, Nicole will be working as an electrical designer.

Nicole developed a passion for the lighting/electrical option during her freshman year at Penn State. Throughout her time at Penn State she has had internships with two lighting design firms. During the summer of 2014 she interned with Goldstick Lighting Design in White Plains, NY where she was first introduced to lighting design. Nicole continued to gain valuable industry experience through her internship with Illumination Arts in Bloomfield, NJ from May 2016 to December 2017. In addition to her internship experience, Nicole became a Resident Assistant during her 4th year at Penn State.

In addition to her studies Nicole was involved with the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE) and the Penn State Student Chapter of IES. At the end of her 3rd year she was elected as the THON chair for SSAE, and during her 5th year accepted the role of IES president.

This past December Nicole took the Lighting Certified (LC) Exam and passed, obtaining the title of Intern LC. After graduation she looks forward to continuing her education through work experience. She is currently working towards obtaining her PE.
