Bri will graduate May of 2018 with an Integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering with a focus in Mechanical option. Following graduation Bri will begin her career as mechanical designer at Hammel, Green and Abrahamson (HGA) in the Minneapolis, MN office.

 

Bri has completed internships with the Menokin Foundation the summer of 2014, Ott Consulting the summer of 2015, H.F Lenz the summer of 2016, and most recently HGA. In her internships Bri has worked with both mechanical and plumbing design on healthcare, commercial, and historical projects.  In the summer of 2015, Bri studied abroad for six weeks in China traveling through Beijing, Shanghai, and Hong Kong with Penn State's Architectural Engineering Department.

In her time at Penn State, Bri has been a teaching assistant for AE202 and AE310 where she has helped teach and grade mechanical based classes. She has also held executive positions in the Penn State’s chapters of ASHRAE, Engineers without Borders, and the Student Society of Architectural Engineers. Outside of Engineering, Bri has contributed to Penn State’s student run newspaper, The Daily Collegian, since the summer of 2013. She has held the position of Photo Chief in the Fall of 2016 and was a Senior Photographer from Fall 2014-Spring of 2015. At The Daily Collegian, Bri has worked with writers and editors to capture and tell stories of events around campus and the community, Division I sports, and breaking news events.
